COMPASSIONATE GUIDANCE THROUGH PREGNANCY

You will receive continuous emotional and physical support, ensuring your birthing journey is met with expertise and calm. From early labor to the final push, I am your steadfast advocate.

Would you ever attempt to climb Mt. Everest without a guide? The journey would probably be safer and easier with someone who knows where to go, while also keeping in mind that it would still be a tough journey ahead, and that you need to walk.

In the same way, you don't need to go through the childbirth journey on your own. Your doula is your guide. She's the one you can message at any time, with questions or concerns. She will direct you, educate you, make you feel safe and taken care of, help your partner to feel involved, and she will make sure that you are prepared, both mentally and physically throughout the process.

What Do I Provide for You?

  • Prenatal Education / Preparation

  • Birth Support

  • Teach you to advocate for yourself

  • Guide your partner in how to help you

  • Help guide through labor with Natural Pain Methods and Labor Positions

  • Help you create a birth plan

What To Expect From Me As Your Doula

Upon hiring me, you will be sent a contract, questionnaire and invoice, to be filled out and sent back.

I will be available via phone or email, from the time you hire me. Contact me if you have any questions about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or your baby.

I go on call for you, when you hit the 38 week mark, and will remain on call 24/7, till you go into labor.

When you go into labor, I will join you from the time you need me, till 1-2 hours postpartum.

During your labor, I will guide you and your partner, helping you to feel calm, relaxed and in control during the entire process.

I will guide you with labor positioning and comfort measures.

I do not take over the birth space, but rather help everyone work as a team.

I help tidy the birth space and make sure everyone if fed and hydrated.

Postpartum, I will come to you, to help you process your birth experience.

The Postpartum Chapter

NURTURING THE MOTHER AFTER BIRTH

The journey doesn't end in the delivery room. We provide expert care for the transition home, focusing on physical recovery, emotional balancing, and infant care guidance to help your new family thrive.

The postpartum period is a beautiful and tender time — but it can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, and full of adjustment. As your postpartum doula, I provide calm, compassionate, non-medical support to help you feel cared for, confident, and rested as you settle into life with your new baby.

Postpartum support is designed to nurture the whole family during the “fourth trimester,” offering practical help, emotional encouragement, and gentle guidance in the early weeks after birth.

Postpartum Support May Include:

  • Newborn care support (soothing, diapering, bathing)

  • Feeding assistance (breast or bottle support)

  • Emotional support and reassurance for parents

  • Light household help such as meal prep or tidying

  • Partner and sibling support during the transition

  • Overnight care so parents can rest and recover

  • Each visit is tailored to your family’s unique needs and comfort level.

Workshops & Education

Why Choose an Out-of-Hospital Childbirth Education Class?

Birth is a natural, powerful process, and the right education can make all the difference in how confident and prepared you feel. Out-of-hospital childbirth education focuses on understanding birth as it was designed—supporting the body, mind, and family through an informed, empowered experience.

These classes emphasize physiological birth, helping you understand how labor unfolds and how to work with your body rather than against it. You’ll learn practical, hands-on comfort measures such as breathing techniques, movement, positioning, relaxation, and natural pain-coping tools that are especially valuable for home and hospital births.

Partners are an essential part of the birth team, and out-of-hospital education equips them with clear, practical ways to provide meaningful support—physically, emotionally, and mentally—throughout labor and birth.

A strong foundation in informed decision-making is another cornerstone of this style of education. You’ll gain evidence-based knowledge, learn the right questions to ask, and feel confident advocating for your preferences, no matter where you ultimately give birth.

Even if your birth plan changes, families who take out-of-hospital childbirth classes often feel calmer, more prepared, and better able to navigate their options. The focus on reducing fear, building trust, and fostering flexibility supports smoother labors and more satisfying birth experiences.

Beyond birth, these classes often include guidance on postpartum recovery, newborn transitions, and breastfeeding—providing support that extends well into the early days of parenthood.

With smaller class sizes and a more personal approach, out-of-hospital childbirth education offers space for questions, discussion, and individualized learning—so you feel fully supported as you prepare to welcome your baby.

I also offer a sibling childbirth class designed to help older children feel prepared and included in the birth experience. This class is especially helpful for families planning a home birth or for children who are naturally curious about how babies are born. Siblings learn what to expect during labor and birth and how they can lovingly participate in caring for mom and welcoming their new baby after birth.

Siblings Class

Welcoming a new baby is an exciting change for the whole family—especially for big brothers and sisters! Birth Boot Camp’s Sibling Childbirth Class is a fun and age-appropriate way to help children feel included, prepared, and confident as they get ready to meet their new sibling.

This private class is held in the comfort of your home and lasts approximately 1.5–2 hours, making it a relaxed and personal experience for your child.

We gently explain what pregnancy, labor, and birth look like in a way kids can understand. We talk about what will happen when mom goes into labor, how the baby will be born, and what life may look like once the baby is home.

Children will also learn how they can be helpful, feel involved, and adjust to their new role in the family. Whether your child will be present at a home birth or simply wants to understand what’s happening with mom’s growing belly, this class is a wonderful way to ease fears, build excitement, and create connection.

I’m a birth doula, childbirth education instructor, and certified herbalist with a deep love for pregnancy, birth, and the families I serve. Supporting women through pregnancy and birth isn’t just my work—it’s a calling that’s rooted in my faith, my family, and my belief that birth is powerful, purposeful, and meant to be honored.

I’ve been supporting families since 2023 and I am a certified Birth Boot Camp childbirth education instructor, as well as a certified herbalist. This combination allows me to offer care that blends evidence-based education with holistic, nurturing support. I believe women are incredibly strong, and when they are informed, supported, and encouraged, they can approach birth with confidence and peace.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’m deeply grateful for my own family, and I understand how important it is to feel protected, respected, and supported as you welcome a new life. My faith guides the way I care for others—with compassion, patience, and a deep respect for each family’s values and birth choices.

I proudly serve families in Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky, offering calm, judgment-free support tailored to your unique journey. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or adding another baby to your family, my goal is to walk beside you with steady support, encouragement, and care every step of the way.

Heartfelt Stories

"Miranda was the perfect birth support partner for my labor. She knew how to help through the challenges of labor while maintaining the sacredness of the space. She's incredibly sweet and knowledgeable and I've grown to love her as a doula as well as my friend."

"Miranda was recommended to me when I was looking for a doula to help me advocate for a VBAC. I had switched Drs and offices 3 times before meeting Miranda and she lead me to the hospital I ended up delivering at which was a huge blessing! Miranda gave me exercises to do during my pregnancy to help my odds of a VBAC. During my labor Miranda was calm and encouraging. While in the hospital Miranda helped me advocate to be up and moving while I labored. I ended up electing for a repeat c-section after being in labor for 10+ hours and I never once felt shame for choosing to have the c-section. Miranda was able to join us for the c-section, remaining calm & helping keep me calm. She has checked on me numerous times since giving birth which was unexpected but so appreciated."

I am pleased to offer my highest recommendation for Miranda Campbell’s doula services. Miranda provided exceptional support throughout my birth experience, remaining by my side for three full days with no complaint. Her presence was reassuring—quiet yet supportive, embodying a calm mother-like strength that brought comfort during such a transformative time.

Miranda consistently advocated for me in thoughtful and meaningful ways. She asked important questions on my behalf that I had not even considered, ensuring I felt informed, empowered, and heard throughout the process. One of the most treasured gifts she provided was a time-stamped notebook documenting my birth story and a bible for my baby- keepsake I will cherish forever. Her professionalism and respect were evident in every interaction. She always asked for permission before offering physical support or capturing photographs. The candid images she took preserved some of the most special and intimate moments of our experience.

Miranda’s compassion, attentiveness, and dedication truly set her apart. I am deeply grateful for her presence and cannot recommend her services highly enough.

"Miranda was my doula for the delivery of my first baby and I’m so glad I had her with me through the whole process. I truly believe that it is because of her support and encouragement through birth that I was able to give birth completely unmediated even while on Pitocin. She knew what my goals were and encouraged me all the way through it! She took time to get to know me during my pregnancy and even checked in on me and a baby to make sure we were both doing good! You can feel God’s love through her in the most crucial and vulnerable moments in your life. I definitely recommend her to everyone!"

Lily E.

"It was truly an honor to have Miranda as our doula. She is so incredibly kind, helpful, encouraging, holy spirit-filled, and I don’t know if I could have followed through with this home birth without her support throughout labor. My husband agrees that she instantly felt safe and is truly invested in her clients. We hope to use her for every future pregnancy/birth if she is available."

Erica G.

"I can’t recommend Miranda enough as a doula, she truly is the best. I originally planned a home birth with her, but due to medical complications, I ended up having a hospital induction. That change made me even more grateful to have Miranda by my side. From our very first meeting, she made me feel comfortable, confident, and supported. Miranda, along with my husband, supported me through 12 hours of unmedicated active labor overnight. She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. In the hospital setting, she helped advocate for our wishes and supported us in keeping the experience as natural as possible. Miranda is absolutely someone you want on your birth team to help you feel empowered and present on one of the most important days of your life. We were also deeply thankful that she is a woman of faith, which added an extra level of peace and confidence throughout the experience. We will definitely be using her again for our next pregnancy."

Stepping into motherhood can be scary least it was for me. I had anxiety before so pregnancy just heightened that. Having Miranda there to answer all my questions and honestly just calm me down was the greatest gift I could have had while being pregnant. I was a first time mom and my labor was not picture perfect. Miranda spent so much time with me at my house helping me through contractions and then when we did have to transfer to the hospital she was with me every step of the way.

She is passionate not only about pregnancy and birth, but also the lives and health, both mental and physical, of the woman and families she is helping. She’s gonna be the person that holds your hand while the rest of the world is there for the baby.
